As Amelia came to, she opened her eyes slowly, her vision being temporarily blinded by the light source above her. Then, as her eyes adjusted the first thing that came to view was a woman staring down at her. 

She was the most beautiful woman Amelia had ever seen, and for a moment, she wondered if she had died, and an angel was greeting her. Her hair, dark and with gentle waves that looked silky to the touch, made her rosy cheeks blossom like petals of camellias. Even her eyes, the color of an early morning sky, were gentle as they gazed own at her.

“Good afternoon, sleepy head.” The angel spoke. Even her voice was pleasing, like gentle chimes on a warm day, and Amelia felt her cheeks warm at the nickname. “My name is Bella Edelstein, and I’m happy you’ve finally waken up . . . Was it because I came to see you?”
