When Bella was six she knew exactly what she was going to be when she grew up. Her parents tried to encourage her into other endeavors, arts, music, science, maths all of which Bella excelled. But the little girl could not be swayed from her being a unicorn trainer. When finally convinced (at ten) that unicorns truly do not exist, Bella decided to pursue more “adult” ambitions and from there on out she was a solid student, never missing a day, and always making the highest marks in her class. However, the young girl never told a soul what her new desired profession was.
Upon entering University, Bella set her sights on a doctorate in ancient literature. What she planned do with that degree was anyone’s guess. Though her education was waylaid when she ended up in a head on collision and breaking both her arms, Bella returned to school the moment she was able. Graduating at the age of thirty-two with her doctorate in classical languages and literature, Bella took the position she’d been desiring since she entered University at eighteen – headmaster at her grade school alma mater.
At twenty-three she met a rather mysterious man by the name of Tomas Malek. Through a whirlwind romance, Bella fell pregnant. Yet, just as mysteriously as Tomas had appeared he was gone again. Saddled with an unplanned pregnancy, Bella fell into the hectic and often exhausting role of a single mother while continuing her schooling.
At twenty-nine she married, Christopher Gerry, a construction worker from Cambridge. Together they raised Bella’s daughter, Adhira, while adding another daughter of their own, Adara, to the mix. The couple’s marriage was cut to a short, tragic end when Christopher was killed on a job site due to faulty machinery.
