Polaris: Do you focus more on the past, the present, or the future?

Over the last year it’s been future: what do i want to major in, planning and organizing my transition and appointments because of it and so forth. However most of  that is now in motion or I’ve answered the questions I needed to, so am making the effort to just be in the present and enjoying what it provides me

Pluto: When you’re very scared or worried, what do you think about or do to help you feel better?

Fiction and stories mean a lot to me, so creating a story or even placing myself in one that’re far away from my troubles tends to be my go to comfort. However I do this even if I’m not scared or worried since I have no life but a butt tonne of imagination!

Ursa Major: What do you find most beautiful in people?

The amount of empathy and compassion we can have for one another even if it’s as small as calling someone to check on them.To me, you’re an incredibly admirable person if you posses  these sorts of qualities

Hydra:What do you find most beautiful in yourself?

I answered the previous question not needing very much thought at all but gosh this one is bloody difficult! Hmmm, I would have to say I have a great amount of resilience and perseverance, and that I’m proud of. I’ve dealt with the fact I’m partially deaf, have chronic pain syndrome, a learning disability and faced the challenges that my transition has presented thus far. Yet I’m still here and smiling!

5: What is your honest opinion of the asker?That you’re an awesome crazy friend to have around who helps me with orgo. :) Don’t leave my life! I really enjoy hanging out with you.

15: What’s one of your earliest memories?Not sure if it’s true but I remember when I was two and a half on the couch with my mom listening to her pregnant stomach to hear my sister kick. It’s a very calming memory. Makes me think of a time when everything was simple.

38: Who’s someone you look up to?My mom. She moved 7 or 8 times in her childhood and had to start from scratch with making new friends each time. She had a broken family, grew up with very little, and now is very successful. Helps me think that a lot is possible.

39: Share a story from your childhood.When I was around 10 I wanted to dress up my build a bear for Halloween. So as I’m looking to find something, I see a vampire costume set for my bear. It looked great but I already had spooky clothes, so I just needed the vampire teeth. The whole set cost $10, which was a lot for me then. So I opened the bag on the floor of build a bear, took the vampire teeth, and put the bag back. To this day that has been the only thing I have stolen and I felt terrible for a long time after I did it. I still do.

48: When was the last time you made blanket/pillow fort?Too long ago. My sister and I used to make them when we were younger but I don’t remember the last time I made one. NOW I WANT TO BUILD A BLANKET/PILLOW FORT!Thanks for the questions, Anne! I appreciate it! :)

8. Favorite Yankee Candle scentHmm, I really enjoy brown sugar cinnamon, but I don’t have a particular favorite. I like a lot of their scents.

18. Favorite sport to play(Ha, you did this on purpose. You know my relationships with sports!) Um, I don’t play in any teams but I do enjoy swimming and archery. I would love to get back to target practice somewhere.

88. Something I will really miss when I leave home.I will really miss the people here that I’ve grown up with and have gotten so close with. One already moved back to her school and it’s strange. I don’t like it.

108. Here’s what I think about designer clothesI go to college. I don’t have the money for freakin’ designer clothes. I think it’s a waste of money to see people wear a normal t-shirt or that would cost a little over $10 in an average low-priced shop, but the logo of a popular brand on it raises the price by $30-$60. (I work at a department store, I see the prices.) No thank you. I can shop in the clearance section of high end stores or find places that sell really good clothes for cheap. Just have to look around a bit. That way you look good while still having a roof over your head.

118. Here’s what I think about abortionOh boy. Normally I don’t speak about my views for controversial topics like this unless specifically asked. Granted, I feel like abortion shouldn’t be the first option a woman uses, (compared to condoms, birth control, morning after pill, adoption) however, it should be a choice once all others are thought through. Both people involved need to be pro-active and communicate to decide what should be used to stop an unwanted pregnancy. However, shit happens. There are other circumstances that pregnancy could occur, such as rape, and contraception isn’t always effective. Regardless, women should have the right to decide. One act shouldn’t destroy their lives along with this new child if the woman isn’t ready to care for another life or have it get stuck in foster care or something similar. I just would prefer them not to wait until the fetus can survive on it’s own (sometime in the third trimester I believe), because then it just feels wrong to me. Long story short: should be an option, just try to prevent it from happening if possible, and try to decide before the third trimester.*I know posting opinions, especially on this topic, is risky for tumblr, and I don’t want to offend or anger anyone. Everyone has their own opinion, and I would gladly discuss this or any other issue with anyone as long as we are both civil about any disagreements. :)
