In moments like these I really wish I could draw, because that’s something I would absolutely love to look at.

Imagine. They are out on a mission. They end up getting separated from the other units and find shelter in a windy shack. There’s 9 hours before dawn and they’re all exhausted: Raelle is basically sleep-walking after healing the two of them; Tally is barely functioning after everything she “saw” and Abbi is trying hard to keep it together. They decide to do turns to keep guard. Abigail offers herself to do the first turn and whoever wakes up first can take the second. The girls argue that it’s not fair, they should do three hours each, but Abbi gives the order and they both collapse in three minutes flat.

Raelle, for the first time in 2 years, sleeps 9 hours in a row. 

Tally wakes a couple of hours before dawn. She checks the time, then looks at Abigail exasperated. 

“You should’ve woken me up!”

“I was just taking care of my unit.”

“You’re so damn stubborn!” She finishes giving her a scolding Abigail will not soon forget, then sends her straight to bed -- even if it’s just for two hours. 

When it’s time to move, Raelle goes to wake Abbi up, but Tally stops her, gives Raelle her bag and just picks her up, effortlessly.

Raelle’s jaw DROPS. 

“What are you waiting for?” 

“I’m- I’m coming.”

After an hour or so of them marching back to camp or wherever, Abigail comes to and looks up at Tally, who’s just starting to break a sweat. 

“What are you doing, Craven?”

“I’m just taking care of my unit.”
