Mr. Belleperche Reflects on the Class of 2012 Graduation
Mr. Belleperche, Josephinum faculty member, was chosen to speak to the 2012 graduates this year at the June 2nd ceremony. Here is what he had to say about this year's experience as commencement speaker:
"During the 2012 graduation ceremonies, I was honored by Lourdes's kind words when introducing me. I had a huge smile on my face when the students stood up and applauded as I was walking towards the podium. It was a beautiful day for a very special group of young ladies and I will truly miss them."
"Now the next chapter of your lives begins. You graduated high school, which is great, but I do not want that to be it. It is very important that you graduates refuse to settle for the bare minimum. I saw a great amount of potential my first year here and it has continued to grow throughout yalls career. I want you to realize that life is the best thing ever, and that you have no business taking it for granted. Live it up and take chances. It is one thing to exist, it is another to live. Do not be afraid to make mistakes. Were all human and make mistakes everyday which is better then having to ask ourselves ‘what if?’ The future holds amazing opportunities for all of you and DO NOT hesitate to ask us for help or advice."
