Are any of you as pumped as I am for the Beauty and the Beast film coming out? I simply cannot wait! Beauty and the beast was always one of my favorite Disney films right next to Mulan. I guess its because I am able to find a bit of myself in Belle. And I'm not just saying that because she loves to read (although that is VERY true), but also because she never judged a single character based on what they looked like on the outside but rather how they acted from the inside. Not only can I relate to that, but I admire it as well. Anyway, today's challenge of the #booksbemine17 challenge is: book + fav funko. Belle is one of my favorite Disney princesses (booknerd princess🙌🏽) and I love how this book was set up as her book journal where she wrote down books she's read and quotes she liked and her own thoughts about them. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to read it and see how much Belle loves to read! 🌹 As for me, I love this entry because it speaks so much to me as I walk this path to becoming a published author. For a long time, I thought being a writer was a hobby, a dream and when I decided to pursue it, opportunities opened up to me, nudging me to stay to this path. 🌹 This post is also for everyone who is discouraged and/disheartened by the lack of interactions on bookstagram. I was talking with my girl CiCi @therusticwindow about how the way we interact with each other has changed. Please know that if I don't comment or like your posts, it does not mean that I'm ignoring you or that you're not important to me. The algorithm certainly is not helping and real life is hectic. I post, like, and comment when I can. I visit when I can, but this community, this little book world is always in my thoughts. I have met some wonderful people here and through continued interaction (daily or sporadic), they have become good friends (I hope they feel the same way too.)
