No amount of money is worth being spoken to and treated like you are a second class citizen. As if you are beneath somebody. A job is just that. A job. As difficult as jobs are hard to come by these days, it doesn't mean you should put up with being treated like you're worthless. Whatever you do should be treated with respect. Your hierarchy, whether they started where you are or not, don't do the job you do now and have no right to disrespect you because of that. Respect is earned, not given freely. Whether you're a homeless person on the street or a boss of a multimillion pound company, if you treat me with respect I will do the same to you. Treat people how you want to be treated and it will pay dividends in the long run. ✌️🏽
