Hey, I don't know if you've answered this before, but do you have any idea what fonts are used on the manga student templates? ( h t t p s : / / i . i m g u r . c o m / i z f x c Q c . p n g )

I *have* had an ask about the official/scanslation fonts before! Unfortunately I haven’t found any answers, sorry.

I think it varies from scanslator to scanslator. There’s at least 3 fonts in the above image (not including the grey/white text in the top right), and they look a LITTLE bit like they might be part of the “Komika” font family but there’s a few subtle differences like how the C’s and R’s and A’s are shaped that make me think otherwise. (Komika is a good font that I totally forgot about though, so I just added it to my previous tip post on fonts!)

Still, as I said before, if anyone knows what font those are, let me know and I’ll make a post about it.

Out of genuine curiosity though, since this isn’t the first time someone’s asked me about specific fonts, is there like a particular reason yall wanna know the specific fonts?? Is this a kinda “get it to look as official as possible” thing or something? If so, is it something I should update in the PSD/generators? (Though to be fair I’m not sure there IS an “official” font for the ultra archives seeing as there is no official English translation as far as I know, so I think it’s really a matter of personal preference for how you want the typography to look.)
