would you happen to know of any community built regions? i cant seem to find any worth the while

There are several linked on the cool stuff page, though it's hardly all of them out there. I'm not sure what your definition of "worth the while" is, unfortunately, so I can't give any specific recommendations. The pages linked there are trying a couple of different things, though, from making fakemon meant to be used in Pokémon Tabletop Adventures to prehistoric focuses, so you might find something you like there.
