Alright, most everything has been planned for the pavilion. All that's left is to just practice appeals with Lunick. She was extra motivated to do this without help from Wallace, since he was participating. (In addition, there was that one judge...)

Aw! Valerie looked at the small desk in her personal room. It didn't have many cards, none that were handmade. She tidied up the others to put this one in a prominent place. Someday when she gets a bulletin board, this one is getting pinned.

Valerie took an extremely shaky breath. Could she even put it into words? Just- the pure horror, hatred. Every time she faced it, she had to- she had to-

The incessant pounding, wobbling, it was a reminder something was always there, always waiting. “More like swimming in it. I can do it, but there’s this block. It’s like-” Valerie rubbed her scar.
