This one too.
Fun story:
I got to meet this guy today! His name is Ben Blaque and he's kinda amazing. He was one of the finalist on America's got Talent.
i died
Ben Blaque is so fuckin rad
I am really losing my temper now with this.
I'm sick of all the people with original talents who are amazing at what they do being voted out over singers and dancers
Don't get me wrong I have no problem with the singers and dancers (especially those like Turf, Andrew De Leon, that ventriloquist who won the second season, and Prince Poppycock) it's just that's all most of the finalists consists of when they have amazing talents like Alexandr Magala, Ben Blaque, Bandbaz Brothers, Brad Byers
I think people forget the prize for AGT.
It's for a million dollar show in VEGAS. VEGAS. VEGAS.
A cute singing child may win your heart over as he did mine with his personality and singing, but does he have an act that is worthy of being in Las Vegas where people who are 21+ go to drink and gamble? No.
Do tap dancing men with do the same thing over and over again but only perk is that they look good deserve to be in Vegas? No.
Does a man who makes ~okay~ jokes with a dog; that before he had the tip to make his jokes commercial theme was really bad deserve a spot in Vegas? No.
Does a boy with an angelic voice that not many people can do or pull off in this day and age and sound so flawless have a show in Vegas? Maybe.
Does a man who puts his life on the line by almost shooting himself in the head with an arrow deserve to have a show in Vegas, while also previously showing his many talents and different suspenseful tricks that he can perform with just a crossbow deserve a show in Vegas? Yes.
Does a boy who nearly kills himself ever time he tries an escape trick, who has a creative mind filled with ideas and new ways to put himself in danger deserve a show in Vegas? Yes.
I'm very mad.
This show is wonderful when people get it right, but when they don't its infuriating. I'm sick of America being obsessed with singers. Sick of them being obsessed with singers, oh did I mention I'm sick of them being obsessed with singers?
