Just curious: would you say that any time an oppressed group hates its oppressor, and the oppressor hates the oppressed group?

Don‘t get me wrong, I‘m definitely for less hate around the world, more talking to each other and trying to understand one another - but unfortunately, that‘s not the world we live in and we have to recognized the systems we live under. When an oppressed group harbors strong feelings, I don’t hold that group to the same standards as the oppressor. And above all, I do not take it personally. We all belong to some privileged group, and although I‘m not personally responsible for their suffering, I am still to be hold accountable by virtue of being part of the oppressing group. And I will always understand hatred. Those people have been suffering for ages (and still are) and not enough people are standing up against it. This is a systematic problem, not individual hatred. The consequences of men’s hatred of women are real, widespread and severe - in every area of life.

So no, I will not stay away from women hating men because that’s not the same thing as men hating women. Instead, we should show more empathy towards the oppressed group, try to learn something and change our own behaviour. Women have every right to be full of rage - men do not.

Every group is "oppressed". Every group has advantages and disadvantages in society. Women are not weak nor helpless. Women have been influencing society for the better AND the worse since society began. Literally in places like India and Israel, women have the power and influence to successfully oppose mostly male governments and create/perpetuate systemic/systematic misandry.

Women being sexist has very real consequences.

Do not equate your ignorance of inequalities men face to men not experiencing them. You should be against all sexism. You should support all victims. The second you excuse or try to justify misandry, you lost any credibility in claiming to support gender equality.

I don't hate straight people or neurotypicals, because I was raised with decency and not to judge entire groups I've known plenty fine people from both and usually those who say they haven't met fine people from a group tends to work on confirmation bias
