quick someone give me some lore of BEN 😭 Google gives me like 3 different stories on him so idk what the majority of people believe is his actual lore
The Act : Story time Pt. 3
[ TW: mild gore. ]
BEN: slenderman, masky and hoods found my cartridge on a dead body.
BEN: i guess this person was on their list for a while, but when they went to do their business... they were shocked to find them dead.
BEN: they knew something wasn't right with it.
BEN: so they plugged it into the person's game system and when... i came on screen or something?
BEN: i guess slendy was able to pull me out.

Ben Drowned Lore (Pre-Mansion)
Benjamin Wright is the second Wright child, being the younger sibling to Tim and the older sibling to Sally. More on their family will be touched on another time.
Ben and Tim have a two year age gap and were born into a cult known as the Slendrin Cult. They worshipped a tall, slender man with no facial features. Many, including their parents, believed that he held immense powers. The stories told that he would grant his devoted followers their desires in exchange for their devotion and sacrifices. Their parents were really good at hiding the abuse they had inflicted upon Ben and Tim as children, hence why it went unnoticed for such a long time. When Ben was four and Tim was six, Tim was sent off to the mental hospital. This will be more touched on in Tim’s lore post. That being said, Ben was ordered to NEVER speak of Tim again. Any time he asked about Tim or even mentioned a sibling, he would be punished. He never understood why. He didn't even get to say goodbye. His home rules were very strict. The only time he got to be free was when he was in school or when he and Jeff had play dates. Even then, his time was limited. His father always said “Don’t get too close to the sinners”.
When Ben was twelve, he and his father were going to go on a camping trip with Jeff. Ben, having been so shut off from many life experiences, was excited to do so. While he was sad that Jeff was grounded at the last moment, he was still happy to go on the trip. However, when he got there, it quickly became clear that it was not a trip.
His father had his notebook, a book that he forbade Ben from ever reading, and took a knife. He engraved symbols into Ben’s palms, circles with X’s in the center. Over time, Ben had gradually gotten used to marks and brandings, but it didn’t lessen the pain or fear in this moment. The last thing he remembers fully is his father grabbing him by the throat, forcing his head under the water. He tried to scream and claw his way free, yet he only felt the cool water rushing into his lungs. Even after twelve years, Ben still remembers the feeling completely. It's why he developed a fear of large bodies of water.
Ben suddenly woke up. He blinked, seeing that he was now in an unfamiliar patch of trees. He looked around, scared and calling for his dad. He then froze, realizing that the God he had spent his whole life praying to stood before him. Ben instantly dropped to his knees, panicking as he tried to form some sort of apology for not noticing sooner. Despite having done nothing wrong, he felt fear at the idea that he had offended the entity. A kind, calm voice spoke, asking Ben to please get up and to not worry. He assured Ben that he wasn’t in any form of trouble and that he was simply trying to help. Ben was confused, telling the man his final memories before that moment. He then noticed his hands were pale and had long, black claw-like nails. He felt uncomfortable, as if he could feel invisible ants crawling on his skin. The man explained that Ben had suffered an unfair, early death. One that he had witnessed from afar and wanted to make right. He resurrected Ben in hopes of giving him the chances he never got before, holding a hand out to him. Ben took it.
Ben and Tim would be raised by Slenderman, referring to him as their father. Ben's murder was not fully intended as a sacrifice, rather a ritual. After Ben had been resurrected, he had developed powers. He can sense people's energies, fly, use dark magic, etc. These were a result of the ritual working, yet Ben died before his father could even see if it worked. Due to this, Slenderman taught Ben everything he could about his powers. Ben is a very skilled fighter and sorcerer, yet he doesn't show it much. Many have been surprised to see just how strong he actually is, and he only grows stronger as time passes.

BEN: as time passed, i lost myself.
BEN: i don't know how long i was there.
BEN: time was something i no longer remembered.
BEN: one day though, someone appeared.
BEN: and... i was so...
ANGRY
BEN: i followed them.
BEN: and i tortured them...
BEN: ...
Jeff: Do you know where you were?
BEN: no.
BEN: i literally JUST said that i didn't.
BEN: but, i know where i was now.
BEN: in my favorite game. the very thing i used to escape everyday life.
BEN: i was trapped in my cartridge.
BEN: and i guess my family sold it or gave it away. every person who got ahold of it came across me.
BEN: until, one day, he found the cartridge.

BEN: when i died, i woke up in a familiar place.
BEN: i was filled with fear, i couldn't remember who i was, i couldn't tell where i was.
BEN: all i knew was that this place seemed familiar... BEN: and i couldn't move. i was stuck; frozen.
BEN: i was alone.
