76 and 85 for the ask meme for all three characters?
076. How do they express anger?
Dr. Tillman’s anger is haughty. A tyrant annoyed that the world isn’t going exactly his way, and something needs to bend or bleed to make his way happen. His lip will curl. His left brow will raise in a way that his mom used to tell him reminded her of Mr. Spock from Star Trek. There’s very obvious disgust in his face and voice for whatever’s made him angry, and then the anger itself is bubbling right underneath that. The anger itself comes out in sharp, barked commands and strong, vise grip fingers. Something needs to bend or bleed.
Carlos’ anger is a very small Chihuahua. It’s gonna!!! Bark!!! Really loud!!!! For a long time!!! But also it’s shaking, it’s absolutely fucking shaking, everything is bigger than it is, everyone is just huge tree trunks that make noise, and everybody better get out of it’s way or it’s gonna!!!! Cry maybe!!! Carlos’ anger is explosive, fists and fuck yous and kicks in the balls, but it’s all to cover up the fact that he’s a very scared little man that suffered from anxiety long before the scientist ever captured him.
Ben’s anger is…. the hardest to think about. I’ve written him angry before… Angry at his situation. Angry to cover up being terrified. But those seemed like more natural reactions to situations rather than Ben’s personal expression of anger. I feel like… he tries to specifically not get angry, if he can help it. I feel like Ben’s the kind of guy who tried meditating for a couple weeks because his doctor told him he needed to do something about his blood pressure. And he tried and tried to “clear his mind” but… But he couldn’t. I feel like Ben’s anger is a shadow in the wings of a very stilted, very badly written play.
085. Describe your character in three words.

Carlos: “No, no–yes.”
