"Hey,hi, um... hello,” Ben called awkwardly, one hand raised to get the person’s attention while the other grabbed at the fabric of his pants, trying to subtly free himself from the thing attempting to eat his leg.

“Is this…” He waved his hand in the air, gesturing toward the dog growling and forcefully tugging at him. “…yours?” he asked, a strained smile on his lips as if he were trying to act like the situation was completely normal and as if he wasn't extremely scared and uncomfortable.

“Listen, I don’t want to go home with you! Please leave me alone.” Ben was trying to get away from the other male, but he wouldn’t leave him. He was so busy in his rush to get away from him in fact, he didn’t notice that he was about to run into someone else. But the collision was inevitable and Ben found himself clutching to the new stranger without even thinking about it, staring at the other who was still following him. “I — I said to, to, uh, to leave me alone. Please.”

Did it surprise him that Abe got himself into another mess? No. But it irked Ben that he was always the one who had to clean them up. He ran a hand through his hair letting out a sight of frustration. “Alright, so what did he do this time?” He asked knowing the look on the other’s face. All he knew was that he wasn’t going to be happy about whatever happened.

"Hi, do you mind if I eat this?" Ben asked having already sat down and started eating from the appetizers on the table, "oh wait-" he said grabbing a passing waiters' attention. "Can I get a merlot, thanks-" he said before smiling at the other across from him. "I've been here for a while, and it would be a waste for someone dressed like you to leave with that expression."
