1. She likes to skip Hero chores to bring Ben some Mr. Smoothy 🥤She knows he has a lot of responsibilities as a Guide. Last time he asked a Recruit to bring him a Smoothy, they got attacked by a Fusion and it delayed the delivery time, so although it arrived “intact”, it was all watery by the time they got there. Ben has weird smoothie cravings, but Dee Dee figured out what flavors he likes the most. He knows that when she’s bringing him smoothies, it’s time to take a looong Chili Fries break.
2. You had this cute headcanon that Ben’s favorite hangout spot is Galaxy Gardens 🪴🌌 The place was much more peaceful before the Fusions made it an Infected Zone, but the variety of vegetation relaxes him and makes him think of outer space. Dee Dee likes to look at the plants, and watch the Recruits glide around in their hoverboards.
3. Ben likes to talk about his adventures with Dee Dee 🌌 She’s experienced space travel and alien planets, almost always by accident, because of Dexter. What makes Ben more comfortable around Dee Dee as opposed to Dexter is that although she asks many questions, they’re easy to respond, whereas Dexter is very specific, almost like trying to analyze the planet’s ecosystem by description. Dee Dee’s stories are funny and simple, and he doesn’t have to explain things for her to get them; she goes straight for the jokes, which makes him feel very comfortable when talking to her.
4. Dee Dee really likes the aliens in the Omnitrix. He’s very careful with it because he has to be responsible, but he likes to show her the aliens. She has her favorites, like Pesky Dust, Big Chill, and Echo Echo, but her most favorite one has to be Rath. They had a rocky meeting due to this alien, but his grumpy attitude wasn’t intimidating to her at all. She sees him like a big cat, and by cartoon logic, this tamed his feisty temper 😂
5. Long before they became friends ( and started dating ), she used to tell her friends Ben was very “Dreamy” 😘 He lowkey reminded her of Beau, a “boyfriend” she invited to her house once, so when she got to see him in person, Dee Dee, Mee Mee and Lee Lee had a fangirl moment. Ben has had many girlfriends, many who he couldn’t keep around due to his immaturity. A guy who has met and dated all sorts of beautiful girls wouldn’t have been particularly interested in a more “normal” girl such as her, but since he had become friends with Dexter, they got to spend more time together, and he felt it was refreshing to meet someone who not only likes his jokes but knows how to follow them. He eventually grew to like her because she was fun to have around, but she had had a crush on him for a while now. They balance each other’s Silly 😜
