@benderoftime She may have felt a little off, but that didn't stop Kate from going about her day. When Alex showed up at the gym, knowing that was on the days schedule, she was glad to see him, even if it was slightly earlier than expected. "Hey, I thought you'd be by later?" She asked, pulling off her gloves, and going to have a sip of water.

He rubs a hand over his face, the dark circles very visible under his eyes and the table he’s sitting at presently is scattered with a variety of ancient texts mixed with medical history books.

who starts putting up decorations in october? Neither of them. Thanksgiving comes first in the Hamilton-Burr household.
who buys the advent calendars? Alex. JP doesn’t know what they’re for.
who places mistletoes all around the house? JP, and Alex fully endorses this behavior
who wraps the presents for other people? JP. He once worked as a department store wrapper for some extra seasonal cash.
who puts the final star/angel on the top of the christmas tree? JP has longer arms.
who’s the one that hates eggnog? .....Alex?
who’s the one that bakes christmas cookies for guests? JP has more recipes, but Alex helps.
who sends out the christmas cards? they’re too much on the DL to do this.
who knows all the words to twelve days of christmas? Alex. JP only knows up to FIIIIIVE GOLDEN RINGS
who’s the better snowman builder? JP. He’s had more New York winters.
who starts snowball fights? JP. He likes the snow more in general
who’s the one that wakes the other on christmas morning by playing christmas songs really loudly?: JP, but Alex has already been awake for a while. He just likes JP waking him up in the mornings.
