Revamped my devotional art of a Lady Bendis! I fixed the hand and dress and shoes and just cleaned it up a bit. Plus I added a background and border so it can match my devotional art of Hadad!

My art of Bendis from maybe like 2022-24? I posted them on Reddit a while ago, and considering it’s reputation for being rude I don’t want to connect my tumblr over there. but! I’m in the middle of revamping one of these to print out for my altar. Sort of similar in style to Hadad. I actually drew these before my art of Hadad, so you can see some visual improvements in my art!

Lady Bendis's Altar!

Hopefully I'll be able to add more deer and dog/wolf imagery, rn it's just earthy things, rocks, shells, and a rat skull. And next I'm working on printing out my art of her to hang up above her altar. It's the only one I have that's not on my main bookshelf altar, it's near my window so I have more wall room to hang stuff.

I think at some point I want to make a spear to fit in her statues hand! :)

Her statue is a scan of the Artemis-Bendis statue from the British Museum. I couldn't find any statues of her online and didn't like any Artemis or Diana ones. So I looked and found a 3d scan and used a printing service to get it shipped to me. I was worried it would be expensive but it was just like 65 bucks. You just send them the file and they print and ship it out. Pretty solid idea if you have statues in museums or online that no one sells recreations of.
