Good Morning! #tapsfishhouse has a KILLER weekend brunch buffet with seriously everything you can imagine including a crepe & omelet bar, carving station, etc. It's an impressive spread. Unfortunately, the eggs benedict was a bit lackluster compared to everything else. I'm not a fan of these egg molds for the poached eggs. It's difficult to serve eggs Benedict buffet style with standard poaching, but it can be done. The muffins were also barely toasted. TAPS is still worth going to for brunch, but fill up on everything else and probably skip this dish. Some #benedictbabe to get you over your mid-week, mid-day slump. Unfortunately, I can't give a restaurant recommendation for this one as it was cooked for me by a family member who has some kick ass culinary skills. That Hollandaise had a good dose of lemon and just enough spice to be super tasty without overpowering. Most importantly, a PERFECTLY poached egg. Yum! Fried chicken benny with arugula from @hopscotchtavern. This was the ultimate hang over dish. I wasn't hung over, so I really have no excuse for chowing down like a 🐷.
