2013 in Review - October through December AND BEYOND!

October: Moved into my new apartment, started paying my own bills, moved onto being alone during my shifts at work. Scary stuff! And I saw The Fifth Estate in theaters. I also got to go to a Matthew West concert, where I got to meet him, Sidewalk Prophets, and Jason Castro!
November: Settled into my apartment and my job. I had my 21st birthday off, so I got to hang out with friends and family! Didn’t have my first legal drink until I went to visit my relatives two weeks later, but I DID officially have one! I also saw Thor the Dark World, Frozen, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. I also went to Winter Jam! Newsboys, Crowder, Plumb, Everfound, Building 429, Newsong, Thousand Foot Krutch, Tenth Avenue North, Love & the Outcome, and Dara Maclean. Which right after the last song, my sister and I drove part way to my relatives and stayed in a crappy hotel for about 7 hours. Needless to say, never roughing it like that ever. Again.
December: Work, family, and tumblr. This was also the month I truly decided I had to stop kidding myself and thinking I was a fake: I am depressed and I need help. I have found a doctor I hope I can make an appointment with, but cannot make said appointment until I know my schedule for January. Hopefully in 2014 I can begin to get help. It’s terrible the way I feel, and I hate feeling the way I do. But on a very bright side, my life still continues. I compiled a tally of the total words written in 2013 and found I officially wrote 86538 words! In fanfics and WIPs that is :D I also saw The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug and 12 Years a Slave.
And this is for the peeps who have kept me going, either by being there for me, being a complete and utter amazing friend regardless of the situation, or just saying a kind word out of the blue. I love all my followers. So thank you EVERYONE. Tumblr has been the best/worst thing – and the best part is you guys :)

A look into 2014:
Well, it looks like 2014 should be interesting. Movie wise I am excited for Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Stretch, Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Horrible Bosses 2, Into the Woods, The Fault in Our Stars, and probably many others. I cannot wait for Sherlock series 3! And I am going to keep up with Almost Human and Agents of SHIELD.
I also will be taking Statistics and another History class winter quarter, and probably a Literature class and an Art class Spring quarter. That SHOULD finish my AA and hopefully in Fall 2014 I can begin my BSN courses! I will also search for a hospital job, even though I know I may not get one as I only have an ASN.
I hope to read more, write tons (100,000 words in 2014 is my goal!), save money, and overall enjoy life. I want to get help for my depression and help myself. All the while holding onto a loving God and asking for His guidance 24/7. And TUMBLR.
2013 in Review - July through September

July: Campmeeting, took my NCLEX RN test and became a Registered Nurse! Also applied to jobs like crazy. I saw Despicable Me 2, Much Ado About Nothing, and Star Trek Into Darkness once more (at this point I hit the golden number ten, beating Tangled by one showing, and decided to quit. Unfortunately, Paramount had other ideas come the end of August…)
August: Moped around a lot, applied to jobs, (saw Star Trek Into Darkness ONE. LAST. TIME. Prior to its September 10th DVD release), and did a small writing challenge called August Rush! Which lead to me joining the Livejournal community 1_million_words! I also got to go to Fishfest, which involved a ton of amazing bands! I met Tenth Avenue North and they signed my Chris Pine black high-top Converse! I had the chance to hear Steven Curtis Chapman, Mandisa, Tenth Avenue North, Thousand Foot Krutch, Sanctus Real, the Rhett Walker Band, and Meredith Andrews.
Since I joined a writing community, this could be the best time to mention my top ten Fanfics I read this year (not necessarily WRITTEN this year). None are mine, and links are provided. And yes, they have all probably been mentioned frequently on my blog – I’m pretty predictable like that.

September: Applied to more jobs and on September 18th I accepted my very first nursing job offer at a skilled nursing facility! I also began school again, taking History and Sociology, both classes needed towards an AA degree that will allow me to transfer to a 4-year University to get my BSN. I did not see any movies in theaters.

April: Beginning of my last quarter of nursing school. I didn’t see anything in theaters.
But of course, I was gearing up for some amazing summer movies, which involved some ridiculous talent, so…. May: Focused practicum clinicals for most of the month. 8 12 hour night shifts. It was really fun and really cool; I learned a ton. And on an important tumblr note, I changed my url from BenedictHiddleston to HiddlesPineBatch. (and I haven’t changed back, oops) I saw Iron Man 3 twice, and let’s not go into how many times I saw Star Trek Into Darkness by the time September came… But I (not shockingly at all) saw STID 5 times before the calendar even said June 1st.

June: NURSING SCHOOL GRADUATION! I also moved out of my relative’s house and moved home! Plus I went on a trip to California: Disneyland, SeaWorld, Hollywood, major stalking and crazy highways! No regrets! Loads of fun! And I met JoAnne, my buddy, my amazing friend. Again, saw Star Trek Into Darkness (oh… 4 times…), once with Ms. Kait ;) – reichenfeels! Also saw Epic and Monsters University.

January: The beginning of my second to last quarter of nursing school. I also saw Rise of the Guardians in theaters twice, and I saw Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. Nothing really happened.
February: Normal life in nursing school. I saw Escape from Planet Earth. Because February literally was kind of boring, here are my top ten fav bands/musical artists of 2013:
