Or maybe - remember when Hamish Bowles wrote the Vogue article about the wedding dress and included references to the Arnolfini Portrait painting that people think shows a pregnant woman. However the Arnolfini’s never had children. The woman died a year before the portrait was painted and it is thought by some to be a memorial painting, not a wedding portrait. Her pose was a common way for painters at the time to display a female body, she was not pregnant in the painting (4:00) That combined with the high waist of her dress and bunched material that she holds, many people thought this to be a painting of a shotgun wedding. Now WHY would someone writing about a wedding dress for a pregnant woman, who is posing in impossible physical positions for any pregnant woman, reference such a painting?? ========= Oh Hamish made quite a FEW shady remarks in that article. 😎

What exactly is the point? What is the end goal? You can't actually help Ben.

Who says I can’t help him? I know he lurks. Sometimes all you can do to help if offer emotional support. And I know I’ve helped others who found my blog. They were able to realize they were the victims of narcs and were able to get help for themselves. And that is reason enough to keep going. Besides, sometimes you just have to do the right thing, just because it's the right thing. I don’t expect to gain anything but satisfaction that I did the right thing and was able to help a few people along the way.
