I just noticed this on the Western Carolina Dance Federation's website, and I would like to repost it here. We can't thank everyone enough for this event. It was really a blessing to us. :)
Square Dancers All,
The Square Dancing Community came through loud and clear in support of the Northrup Family Benefit Dance Oct 16th, 2011. There were over 12 squares, some 60 items donated for the auction, and over $4500 raised. To all who came, to all who donated, and to all who planned and worked so hard, "THANK Y'ALL".
A special thanks to the callers who gave their time and talent, Ken Perkins, Jerry Biggerstaff, Jim Duncan, Jim Roper, and Bill Restall. To Steve and Susan Garwood for a great job of handling the auction a special thanks. To everyone who made this all possible, thank you, thank you, and again thank you from the Northrup Family.
