One of the most famous tourism spot in Batam is Golden City Batam. If you take tour package in Batam, this tourist destination is always included on the itinerary. In the middle of 2016, there is one new attraction opens here. It is The Illusion Batam.

What is The Illusion Batam

The Illusion Batam is a studio and museum of trick art, 3D art, illusion art, and perspective room. All in one place.

It is the work and creativity of Batam local artists and has been opened since mid-2016 until now.

Here, we will found a studio with an upside down decoration in some rooms like living room, kitchen, and bathroom. These rooms will make you like you were on the upside down house. On the other side, there is a mirror illusion room and perspective room which can make you look bigger an smaller when you take the picture at the correct angel.

One room I personally like is the 30 degree room with Michael Jackson 45 degree move pose. In this room, we were look like can do the same with Michael Jackson without the ‘anti-gravity’ shoes.

Move to another room, there are the 3D illusion art painted on the wall with many themes.

Total of 28 studios and arts were here with its own uniqueness. There is also a guide to accompany you to ensure you are taking a great picture at the right angle for the perfect result.

Apa itu The Illusion Batam

Terletak di komplek wisata Golden City, The Illusion adalah sebuah museum sekaligus studio yang menampilkan trick art, trick eye dan 3D-art sekaligus dalam satu tempat.

The Illusion sendiri merupakan karya dan hasil kreatifitas seniman lokal Batam dan telah buka dan diperkenalkan semenjak pertengahan 2016 lalu.

Di sini, kita akan menemukan beberapa studio dengan dekorasi ruangan berposisi terbalik, ruangan kaca yang disebut dengan mirror illusion, dan beberapa perspective room seperti Giant & Dwarf Arena yang bisa membuat seseorang tampak menjadi lebih besar apabila diambil dari angle yang tepat, lalu sebuah ruangan miring yang bisa membuat kita bisa bergaya ala Michael Jackson yang bisa miring 45 derajat tanpa jatuh.

Selain itu, ada satu ruangan khusus 3D art dan trick art yang memiliki beberapa tema berbeda, seperti berjalan di atas jembatan kayu, berada di mulut naga dan kena tendang Jet Lee. Pas banget deh, buat yang hobi foto unik dan kekinian! Total ada 28 spot termasuk diantaranya mini studio dengan keunikannya masing-masing.

Bagaimana menuju ke The Illusion Batam

The Illusion Batam dapat ditempuh 10 menit dari Nagoya, terletak tepat di belakang Hotel Golden View dan restoran seafood Golden Prawn.

Setelah melewati gerbang masuk Golden City, yang tepat berada di samping Golden Prawn, sekitar 100 meter langsung belok kiri. The Illusion terletak di kiri jalan sekitar 100 meter dari tikungan tersebut dan bisa dengan mudah ditemukan.
