Don't Judge a Book by It's Cover
It had been a crazy day. He'd meet a couple of people, and he had a feeling he was going to take a crash course in Friend or Foe 101 by the end of the week if he meet anyone else. Currently he was trying to relax and sort out his thoughts by walking the school grounds, keeping calm was an active habit he was slowly learning to develop. He'd only transformed a handful of times before coming to the school but he remembered enough from the experience to know that a lack of control had been a major factor in his change; and the anger, fear, and distress the Hulk felt when he came out because of that feeling made him take it out on whatever was near him. It was his working theory at least.
He'd already seen two students flying on their way to class and one swinging from some sort of webbing down the halls, he never thought he'd say it but it almost made him feel normal. At the very least he looked normal. Some people he meet looked different because of mutations or through whatever origin they received their powers. He could have sworn he'd seen a bolder walking to class one day, and yet here he was Bruce Banner, the Hulk, probably one of the most dangerous kids on campus walking around in the body of a science geek. He must look incredibly frail to the students who could lift several tons and had super strength, even the normal kids here, due to some extraordinary talent or another, could probably take him as he currently was. He wouldn't recommend it though, because if he did get in a fight with someone eventually he wouldn't be himself anymore.
Halfway to the shore line, where he was headed to just relax on his own, he got a little warm. He was not used to this weather, it wasn't too warm but with the humidity he certainly was overdressed in the sweater he was wearing. Stopping and putting down his bag he pulled his arms out of his sweater and tried to lift it over his head but it got stuck. Such was his life, he cursed, and with a harsh tug he managed to not only pull the sweater over his head but trip over the bag he had placed on the floor. He really needed to work on this clumsy thing, it wasn't a habit he should be getting used to. Running his fingers through his disheveled hair before slowly standing and grabbing his bag and the infernal sweater he heard the most gravel like laugh he could have ever imagined.
