So this uh… this one got away from me… I had the idea for this silly little scene and it was one page with four maybe five panels, and then I thought I might as well use it as practice for comic-making, then I did the thumbnails and it turned into FOUR PAGES. So yeah, I’ve been working on this on/off for like several months now. Oops.

The next time I do something small like this it won’t be in FULL GODDAMN COLOUR.

(any tips for comic-making stuff would be appreciated, but please go easy on me this is the first one I’ve done with a proper page/panel layout)

(Also how do I even categorize this?? Like Fan Comic obviously but does this cross over into Fan Fiction? Whatever man IDK)

Buggerup Busters Phone Wallpaper! Have had this in my brain juuust shy of one entire year, and only decided to actually make it within the last few days.

All character art and each individual word bubble are from Widdershins by Kate Ashwin (which you should read if you haven’t already) and this is the original post that is the middle text:

I like to think that Ben and Wolfe talk to widdershins the way Mal sometimes does. Not like all the time and they're obviously nowhere near as close to the city as O'Malley.

just imagine Wolfe practicing his violen in an empty alley and asking the streets and buildings how he did. Bowing all proper like and telling the city he hopes it liked his performance.

Or perhaps Ben properly addressing the city whenever he's given the chance. Or going on rants about whatever chaos the other two have brought perhaps wondering aloud how the city managed with all the chaos happening all the time.

My favorite hc is that whenever one of the trio if out doing something dangerous perhaps the others will ask the city to please keep their friend safe

Some more Ben lore from the widdershins!witch-hunt au

He ran away from his home as a tween because of his magic abilities and thus is a lot smore street smart than canon Ben is.

He runs into Mal about seven years after running away from his family (-Verity)

Verity is like the only family member who knows he's alive since after he disappeared for a few years without turning up (in part thanks to Vee) he was declared legally dead

Ben and Sidney actually meet up on the street a few times without realizing the other is also wizard

He's a trans man and ran away before transitioning which is probably the main reason his siblings (wizard hunters in this au) have never recognized him even after they stabbed him.

He doesn't trust Wolfe at first even for a little after Wolfe betrays the army.

He meets Eliza when running away from the law she hides him in her closet and procedes to bombard the gaurds with crackpot theories about wizards and magic (only some of which she actually beleives) to get them to leave
