One of the last character bios I plan on completing... MARI- Sister and co-Chief to Zaurian leader Roth Khan, Mari was a powerful Zaurian warrior in her own right. Like all Zaurian women, she had a powerful, whip-like tail and her ‘hair’ consisted of elaborate scales that closely resembled feathers. Although quite serious in combat, she was otherwise very easy-going and even proved to be quite flirty toward Benjamin. SIOBHAN, QUEEN - Siobhán was formerly Queen of Nooetopia before it was overrun by the Marauders. Like most Nooetopians, Siobhán is Afro-Asian in appearance, and although not a seasoned warrior as are her Valkyries, she is still a skilled swordsman in her own right. Upon his arrival in Life World, Benjamin was brought before Siobhan, who quickly sought to make him her mate. She was even able to form a weak bond with him, but it was subsequently supplanted by a permanent bond with Aileron. Back to drawing after working on other projects...finished up Kor Tan and his bio: KOR TAN - High ranking Zaurian warrior who became Chieftain of Zauria after the death of Roth Khan, and an ally of Benjamin. Fighting alongside the Valkyries of Nooetopia, Kor Tan led the Zaurian warriors in their final push against Ash-Shaytan. ZAURIANS - Native people populating the region of Zauria, the Zaurians appear to have evolved from dinosaurs-like ancestors. Benjamin observed that their name, zaurian, appears to be derived from the word ‘saurian’, a suborder of ancient reptiles which includes extinct forms, such as dinosaurs. The Zaurians, though, have several humanoid traits as well. For instance their hands have five fingers each and they possess small external ears. While the males are ‘bald’, the females have feathery plumage on their heads as well as whip like tails, which males lack. Zaurians typically possess superhuman strength and stamina, as well as amazing agility.Their clothing is reminiscent of Malian ‘mud cloth’ design, although many such as Kor Tan, wear designs reminiscent of old Ghana as well. #substanceofthingshopedfor #evidenceofthingsunseen #KorTan #BenjaminBishop #zaurians
