Just finished this book. What an entertaining and fun and clever read. Highly recommend. That first sentence is a killer (pun intended). "Everyone in my family has killed someone. Some of us, the high achievers, have killed more than once." Also this… “I looked around at the bookshelves, the crackling fire and the plush red leather chairs. ‘If we get out of here alive enough to sell our story, I’d say Hollywood would be pretty pissed if we didn’t use the library, don’t you think?’” While I’m happy HBO is making a limited series of it, I’m sad it most likely won’t be Aussie and set in The Snowy Mountains.
