Hi so i saw your astarion gale post and i wanna say first of all good post op!! my dnd group literally devolved into arguments because the astarion fans were like “stinky crack wizard looks like he’d spike your drink” which is a wild thing to say. also like. astarion and gale have so many similarities- you’re gonna tell me that astarion needing to drink blood and gale needing to eat magic aren’t similar? at all?? completely ignoring that you could easily punt astarion with the same “creepy crack vampire hitting on me when i’m not interested” brush, yaknow? like. what bothers me is the lack of consistency- if it were people going “yeah i don’t like gale that much and astarion is hot” i’d understand so much more than “incel crack wizard” or whatever. anyway sorry to ramble in your askbox this argument has been bothering me for a while and your post was spot on

So just a quick question- do you ever get times where the shape of a sigil is immediately apparent to you? I started witchcraft pretty recently and I'm still learning so usually I'd do the entire "take the letters of the intent and use them as a base" method for sigils but with a few intents the shape of a sigil seemed fairly obvious to me and I was just wondering if that was still "good sigil practice" or if you had something similar :)

Yeah, definitely! Sometimes I think of a phrase and almost immediately an idea for the sigil will come to me. The letter method is pretty popular and I use my own version (here) sometimes. But that doesn’t mean other methods aren’t valid! Sigil witchcraft to me is basically whatever you feel is right. There’s not really such thing as good or bad sigil practice, it all depends on how well it works for the individual.
