i already am not as chronically online as most people in my life but the choice to cut down even more has me at peace bc it means i've seen like one (1) post about the new marriage candidates and it was neutral at best.

but to share my own perspective i think as much as giving the wizard more lore would've been nice i think sandy and clint are solid ass picks. they're both older (which is nice since most of the romancables are quite young), have very little development as is (so we get more insight!), and are both tied to a preexisting bachelorette, that being emily. like i am extremely interested to see how they are bridged into the rest of the 'main' cast here through their relationships with emily.

i also just genuinely wanna know more about the two of them. i think we have such an outsider perspective on what goes on with them that it would be nice getting more into their personal lives if that makes sense. i have no plans on romancing either of them, even with an oc, but i am absolutely fascinated to know more about them and for them to be given proper character arcs (or at least i hope they do).

idk i'm just excited to see dialogue expansion become more like relationship and character expansion in general. this goes for the children i heard were getting an update as well. which is neat for people who actually do get married!

i need my family to stop making weird comments about me collecting physical media. shut up and continue paying over $200 a month on cable and streaming services to watch your fuckass shows that'll get removed or vaulted in 3 days time. keep 100% relying on music streaming services who promote ai, fascism, and can't pay the artists that keep their platforms alive what they're worth. what is so crazy about taking back control and actually owning something in a way they cannot take it from me???

helloooooo sunsets enjoyers! this post is here to let you know we officially have a second project in the works, with the first chapter posted >:3 i'd mentioned a ton before that i was working on a prequel and well, this is it! it's called "all of this is temporary," in reference to halsey's song "bells in santa fe" on her album "if i can't have love, i want power". if you wanna know anything about this new fic, give the album a listen hehe

this new series is called "people disappear here" btw (another halsey/power ref) and will be slow to update with bits about a bunch of characters you didn't get a chance to see in the og sunsets.

here's the blurb for all of this is temporary:

Up until now, Sebastian has had a kill count of none. Now he has a kill count of one: his mother. Everyone left someone behind, but he's the only one to kill that someone. Unfortunately for him and his whole group -- now consisting of Abigail, Sam, Alex, and Haley-- this fact changes everything. The prequel to the first fic in this series, "late dawns, early sunsets" !!!

and here's the first paragraph of this very short opening chapter!:

White grout turns red as fluid seeps toward Sebastian's little feet. There's a crack in the tile, there's— there's glass shattered and fragmented all over the floor. Glass in spikes, glass in chunks, glass dusting every inch of the tiny apartment kitchen even if he can't see it. He can't walk forward, backward, or even attempt to step around the mess. So he stands there, frozen, hands that seemed to stop working thirty seconds ago finding themselves shaking as he heaves.
