Josiah: (sigh) A legendary treasure belonging to the Neverseas Captain himself...treasure~♡

Josiah: What am I thinking?! With a ruthless bunch like this, it’d simply be impossible for someone like me to win something as grand as that!

Not to mention, foam swords and water guns in their hands don’t ease my spirits at all...

Josiah: Hnn...and I bet it’s nothing compared to a chest full of dreamy jewels...there’s no point in fighting for that anyways. I’ve decided!

Josiah: I’ll hide here until things simmer down

???: Waah, that’s such a bummer! Be more confident! Σ(￣□￣

Josiah: (scream) AHH DO- DON’T HURT ME!!! I’VE NOTHING TO OFFER—ah. Benji, it’s you. Jeez...you move so silently.

Benji: Eheh, yup~ By the way, do you really not wanna participate? I think you could really show these guys who’s boss if you put your mind to it! That cool side of you is somethin’ else.

Josiah: No way! I...I already made up my mind about opting out.

Benji: Boo, I’m not lettin’ you give up so easily. How about we team up? Already found a pretty piece of that map Mister Cap’n mentioned ~(^∇^〜）

Josiah: You’ve found a piece already?! Resolute as always...but I’m not—

[ rustling ]

Piraticus Student B: I knew it! THESE GUYS GOT ONE ALREADY!

Piraticus Student A: What’re you waiting for?! Let’s snatch it!

Students: Let’s go!

[ TEAM AMBUSH ]

Benji: Guess we were too loud~ Josie, run like the wind to protect our map! I’ll hold ‘em off for now, ‘kay? (*′☉.̫☉)

Josiah: EHHH?!?! YOU SET ME UP (sob)

Piraticus Student B: Quick, before he gets away!

Josiah: NONONONONOOOOOOOOOOO !!!

redrew benji and i’m still kinda freaked out by how different this looks compared 2 the last time i drew him!! UPGRADES!!

it’s really easy to make benji happy!!! so it’s rare to actually find him not smiling :3

I fell for Benji as well! I must know what he thinks of Kritanta!

Also for the mistletoe ask, if you can, that Kritanta gives the two pirate lads kisses,

Benji doesn’t particularly make it obvious but he thinks she’s amazing! A badass captain and a lovely baker? Cooool! You can bet he’ll always pop up to help her if she ever needs first-aid or if she needs somebody to taste test the sweets! :3

Ok, mistletoe time!

BENJI

When it comes to Piraticus partying, Benji kinda keeps to himself, unless he’s spoken to. Not because he’s shy or anything, he’s usually just in his own world. Bumping into Kritanta, he’d snap out of his daze admins scratch his head bashfully, his tongue poking out out habit.

- “Wah, sorry Kritanta. I didn’t see you there, heheh....Huh, mistletoe~?”

He hums out in a funny way, looking up at the greenery over their heads. He let out a gentle ‘oooooo’ before giving her a thumbs up, letting her plant a nice smooch on his cheek.

-“Gee, I’ve never been kissed under a mistletoe before...by a pretty-pretty captain, too? Lucky boy~ Wowow~”

A tinge of red slowly reaches Benji’s cheeks while his bushy blue tail begins to wag. He’s moreso content with the nice experience and not all that shy about it.

Josiah

Things have been so strange! Josiah feels like everytime he stops moving, he ends up under another mistletoe with someone way out of his league and gorgeous!!! He simply can’t take it. So, when he comes face to face (well, not really because he’s tall) with Kritanta out of nowhere, he lets out a shrill squeal.

- “M...My apologies, Miss Kritanta. I didn’t- didn’t mean to get in your way. Pleasedon’tpummelmeforit.”

Josiah’s shoulders shrink in as he wrings his tail in his grasp, confused to why she’s smiling sooo sweetly towards him. His eyes dart upwards to catch a glimpse of another mistletoe and he’s just about ready to faint. He hears her mention about him being a ‘silly kitty’ befor he’s pulled down for a smooch and you can see the smoke traveling out of his ears.

He couldn’t really describe how he felt. Was he relieved? Did he like the lovely smooch? We wouldn’t know because he immediately pulls away with a strange expression.

-“Bathroom! I have to, uh, go to it! Go Bathroom!!”

Josie runs off in a bit of a panic, mostly to dunk his face in the coldest water a faucet can muster. He’s already embarrassed himself enough this evening.
