Once again Nadia found herself without real plans aside from a strange invitation to what, according to wikipedia, was a pagan holiday party. All the confirmed and suspected fey were mysteriously busy, so no doubt this fucking night had something to do with them. She was tempted to stay home. The supply of 99 was quickly dwindling and she knew she ought to ration it, but she’d gotten so used to seeing what she considered to be her real reflection in the mirror that the sight of her face without it almost sent her into a panic attack. She couldn’t go back. Frost was just going to have to find a way to hold up her end of the deal.
Despite the fact that she wasn’t in the mood for a celebration, she was even less in the mood to sit home alone and stress over her life falling apart again. Maybe Slane would have more answers that Sean could clarify for her later. Needless to say she was distracted as she walked the street toward the gathering, which was probably why she walked straight into Benji.
“Jesus! Sorry, I didn’t see -- Benji? From the bar, right? The darts.” She narrowed her eyes slightly. Maybe this was perfect... “What are you doing right now? Please, please tell me you’re not busy.”
