Angie shook her head at herself. The first thing she needed to do was find the rest of the coffee maker. She’d tried to forego caffeine and now was faced with a number of home repair projects to deal with and a horrible headache. All she had to do was slip into the cafe and slip out without running into anyone who might recognize her. Daunting, and damn near impossible at the best of times. Once she was armed with the largest coffee they could sell her, the day seemed a little brighter. Until she rounded a corner and found herself face to face with someone all too familiar. “B-ben..hey...” she tried, frozen in place. Her confidence had taken a big hit in coming back to Charming. Once upon a time, she’d gladly go toe-to-toe with anyone and now..now she was a deer in the headlights.
