New Leads Revealed On Missing Ben Needham’s 26th Birthday
New leads have been revealed in the Ben Needham case today, his 26th birthday.
Ben was born on 29 October 1989, and was abducted on 24 July 1991, aged just 21-months.
The little boy from Sheffield was last seen playing outside a farmhouse in the village of Irakles on the Greek Island of Kos. Despite many strong leads, Ben has never been found.
A social media 'thunderclap' took place at 11.06am today, the time of Ben's birth, in a bid to boost awareness.

Ben's mum, Kerry, told ITV: “We try to do something that sort of makes us happy and reminds us of Ben at the same time.
“We’ve found that just sitting in the house and being really morbid about his birthday – it doesn’t really do anybody any favours. It doesn’t help anybody.”
A Home Office grant kicked off 'Operation Ben' earlier this year, allowing a team of police to spend the last seven months trawling through all the information to date, resulting in some new leads.
Det Insp Jon Cousins from South Yorkshire Police said: "Funding for us to do this has allowed the team to work tirelessly through all the information we have.
“Dedication such as that and the time and capability has thrown up a number of interesting leads which I now intend to pursue."
