Rain wasn’t anything new in Louisiana, but anytime it came down you got excited and giddy; like it was your first time seeing it. The reason for that was because it meant you got to spend the entire day lazing about with Benny. He was always so busy, even when he wasn’t at the diner and you didn’t get to see him that much. Not that you really complained. You understood how much work went into owning your own business, but today was your day. Today Benny would be relaxing at home with you.
As you woke that morning and heard the rain hitting the roof of your shared house you grinned. Instantly you went to throw the blankets back and rush to find Benny. He was most likely in the kitchen. But before your feet could even hit the floor the door was opening and your amazing, sexy, vampire boyfriend was coming in. In his hands he held a tray. From your seat on the bed you could see a glass of orange juice and realized he had made you breakfast in bed. But what really caught your attention was the vase filled with your favorite flowers.
“Morning Cher,” he said softly as he placed the vase over your lap. You looked down and saw heart shaped pancakes along with bacon as well as a bowl of strawberries made to look like little hearts as well.
A loving smile graced your lips as you looked up at him. “This is so sweet Benny. I love it. Thank you.” You kissed him softly and went to pull away, but he held you there making the kiss a little more passionate before letting go.
As you began to eat your breakfast made from love Benny laid down with you and softly drew designs on your thigh. He watched you enjoy every bite he had made and when you were finished he moved the tray out of the way and pulled you into his arms to properly cuddle.
