How did William and Benny meet?

Benny was haphazardly thrown onto the same patch of floor William slept on at Kinderfanger’s textile mill when he was abducted and bitten and was the first thing in William’s time there to make him laugh. He managed to be nice despite how awful their lives were.

Benny thought Williams advice on how to survive in the mill and his smartass comments were smart and clever. He thought the way William carried himself despite how scary everyday was at the mill was cool. And they were pretty much inseparable.
