This is one of my most favorite songs. It’ll send you to a warm, welcoming place. It’s one of the few you can listen to repeatedly without becoming bored. But the real reason I love the video? The opening introduction by Ben Pridmore. I can’t explain it. Something about his movements, tone, inflection, the kind smile on his face, the way he intently looks at the cards. Hell, listen to the sound the cards make as he shuffles them (0:08-0:37)! It’s hypnotic! Over and over again, I rewind just the introduction and take in every minute sound until I realize that I’m not breathing. Something about it literally takes my breath away and silences my soul.
