Hello everyone, this is The Mysterious Masked Reviewer and I’ve come to you with yet another mysterious youtube channel.
Bensplayhouse, now many people have probably heard of Bensplayhouse by now and many have probably reviewed it but personally I still find it to be a fascinating enigma.
Now Bensplayhouse created his youtube channel back in 2013 with his first video being posted on January the 4th titled bathtub.mov
The video seems to depict someone being drowned presumably by Ben.
That same day he posted a video titled bestfriend.mov of someone or something with glowing eyes running toward the camera.
on January the 5th 2013 Ben uploaded a video titled happyclown.mov showing someone presumably Ben showing off his clown mask and dancing.
on January 6th 2013 Ben uploaded a video of something or someone on fire. as someone walks towards the camera, the video then goes black as a sound is heard and then it cuts to someones face (possibly Ben’s.)
On January 7th 2013 Ben uploaded a video of someone opening a door, where a man (presumed to be a captive.) crawls out wearing a cow mask and moos.
Now before we move on to the next video, let’s talk about Collin Henson. Who’s Collin Henson? well allow me to explain.
On January 15th 2015 Collin Henson uploaded his first Vine video entitled Ruffles is a rip off!! haha. The video itself starts off as Collin opens a bag of Ruffles only to be disappointed by it’s contents.
Collin then began to upload seemingly comedic vines each featuring him doing various things and commenting on certain topics.
Then comes the fourth video on his Vine, where he talks about touring his neighborhood before showing an abandoned mental facility near his house.
By his fifth video Collin goes to the mental facility near his house, contemplating touring it and asking if he should.
Collin eventually does decide to enter the facility, and tour it the next few videos seem to be just him touring the mental facility. Growing more fearful each new video posted
Eventually by his ninth video, Collin finds a cow mask and swears he’s leaving (the cow mask also comes up later.)
The next two videos appear not to be Collin by rather somebody else using Collin’s phone
Now the thirteenth video on the vine confirms Collin no longer having the phone, in fact it shows Collin being locked away in a room.
Now Back to Bensplayhouse.
On January 17th 2015 Ben uploaded a video titled newfriend.mov of himself following a man who looks mysteriously like Collin.
Now the implication here is that Ben has kidnapped Collin, and locked him into the mental hospital while using Collin’s phone to upload videos to his vine.
The fifteenth video on Collin’s vine depicts him wearing a white shirt and being force feed medicine, it should be mentioned Collin looks visibly exhausted and bruised.
On January 18th Ben uploaded yet another video, this time titled timeout.mov showing a man in a victorian style clown mask white shirt and pants behind a fence walking towards the camera
The man in the white shirt, and pants may in fact be Collin who is now under the influence of drugs and being forced to record videos for Ben’s amusement.
The sixteenth video on the vine shows Ben once more, recording Collin as he stands there in a clown mask.
The seventeenth video on the vine shows Collin dancing still wearing the clown mask.
Ben meanwhile uploads another video titled hideandseek.mov of a man in a black lycra suit and white mask (presumed to be Ben himself.) crawling around before the camera zooms in on his face then cutting to himself chasing Collin in just his underwear and the clown mask before cornering him after which the video cuts off.
Meanwhile the next two videos on Collin’s Vine account appear to be odd, and random with Ben recording dust and the floor and then knocking on a door.
The next video on Collin’s Vine depict someone (possibly Collin.) walking in on the black lycra wearing white faced man (possibly Ben as he sits in silence.)
The final two videos on Collin’s vine show the black lycra suited man with the white mask crawling around and finally Collin against a wall in just his underwear and the clown mask screaming “He’s coming!” “He’s coming!”
The next ten months go by with no videos from Collin or Ben.
Then suddenly Ben uploads a new video, showing himself (or maybe Collin?) on a plane
A few days pass before Ben uploads a video titled ladyinred.mov of himself walking through a walmart parking lot stalking a lady dressed in a red hoodie and red sweat pants before following her into the walmart and then walking down various isles before seeing a woman in a red beanie and red shirt
Ben proceeds to then stalk this woman through out the video, ultimately culminating in him breaking into the woman’s car and hide in her trunk as she drives off unaware of the man in back of her van.
The final video on Ben’s channel was uploaded on November the 8th 2015 showing him walking up some stairs as a distorted version of the song Mr. Sandman by The Chordettes begins to play.
Suddenly the video cuts to black as sounds of a woman screaming are heard before showing Ben walking down a hallway with several closed doors.
The video cuts once more before showing Ben approaching an open door to a bathroom the video cuts out again as odd sounds are heard before showing a woman (presumed to be the girl from the “lady in red” video) standing in a shower with blacked out eyes and what appears to be a glasgow smile as she smiles.
The video ends as the music begins to loop and the video zooms in on the woman before becoming distorted and ending.

Now want to know something funny? the videos take place in Arkansas the mental facility shown in the videos is the Alexander Human Development Center located in Alexander Arkansas
The Walmart seen in “lady in red” is a mile outside of Little Rock.
How do I know this? I shopped at that Walmart and used to go passed the Alexander Human Development Center frequently.
I also knew people who lived near the Alexander Human Development Center.
As for Collin well while I didn’t know him personally, neither did anyone I know and he hasn’t been reported missing in Arkansas nor has anyone heard of him.
Same with Bensplayhouse, this line of reasoning has led me (and several others.) to believe the series is nothing more then an elaborate ARG
Now I’ve got to say it is brilliantly filmed, and executed with an intriguing and thoroughly engaging story.
A compelling main character in Ben as well as an excellent series of supporting characters and or victim’s in Collin and the “lady in red”
For this I give this series a five out of five and recommend it to all those who love horror.
