Pokušaću da gledam Beoviziju po možda treći put ikada, videćemo da li ću izdržati kič. Gledala sam sat vremena polufinala i to je bilo dosta od mene.

Kič mi ne smeta kad gledam celu evropu kako se blamira (uglavnom) Uživam da gledam Evroviziju, ali ove naše dileje sve od jednom je teško gledati. U tih sat vremena što sam gledala prekjuče, bukvalno 5 od 7 ljudi nije uopšte znalo da peva, zašto rts tome daje air time ja stvarno ne znam.

Beovizija 2020

I did this last year and wanted to do it again: my opinions and comments to the Serbian national final (Beovizija) + a personal ranking from ♥ to ♥♥♥♥. 

Semi 1

trag - easy, catchy, bit folk-ish, not amazing but it’s cute. ♥♥♥

kiša - a bit too boring for me, not outstanding in any way but not a terrible ballad. ♥♥

sabajle - poor guy, tries again and again... anyway, dramatic and somehow very different than I thought that his song would sound. I like the lyrics. ♥♥♥

sudnji dan - somehow it makes me feel empty but the more often I listen to it the more I like it. ♥♥♥

ona me zna - not my cup of tea. ♥

oči meduze - I got excited when I read the song title. the melody is sadly very pop song that one hears on the radio and then forgets again. ♥♥♥

ne puštam - I’m bored. it’s like a song in a Disney film but in a scene that isn’t too important for the whole plot. the film could exist without this song. ♥♥

kolači - mhh. a faster song. I like the tempo because I feel like dancing. the lyrics are very flat but what was I expecting from a faster ex-yu song? ♥♥♥

duša i telo - this song makes me uncomfortable. the vibe is: stranger that stands a bit too close to you in a crowd and breathes into your neck. ♥

bomba - eh, Nedo, Nedo. this woman is turning 70 this year just like my grandpa. idk whether I’m impressed that she is attending Beovizija or just ehh :/ because the song.. well idk. ♥♥

raj - aww. a lovely ballad. I love the instruments! I enjoy the happier lyrics and that it makes me feel light and warm. definitely my fave in the first semi (which usually means bad luck. I’m sorry for that in advance). ♥♥♥♥

ples za rastanak - very mainstream pop song. I’m sure a song with the exact melody but English lyrics exists. ♥

Semi 2

lift - I mean it would be alright to play in a lift I guess. ♥

cvet sa prokletija - I like this. I don’t love it with a passion but I think that this is also a song my mom would listen to and then I would start liking it because she likes it. ♥♥♥

svadba velika - *throws a glass on the floor* well, as the title promises, it’s a wedding song. I feel my body moving because there is a Bosnian peasant in my heart always and I’m obligated to move as soon as I hear this rhythm. it’s fun but I definitely feel like a lot of people would hate it. is it made for the general audience that hasn’t a peasant dancing inside of them? no. but this is my ranking so I do what I want. ♥♥♥

kao muzika - I don’t hate it but I don’t love it either. I don’t like her voice too much but I love the instrumental and middle part when she isn’t singing. ♥♥

baš baš - weird vibes and too much going on. not for me. ♥

samo ti umeš to - are we surprised that I like the traditional instruments and background? no. other than that I’m not really feeling it. ♥♥

puklo je nebo - I don’t like David Guetta songs and this makes me think of one, which is a shame because I do like his voice. ♥♥

vila - again: the instruments. violins and cellos make me really happy. however, the rest is not making me feel as happy. ♥♥

veruj u sebe - I’m confused and it doesn’t help me believing in myself. false advertising. ♥

hasta la vista - is this the big fave? or was I just randomly seeing a lot of support for them? I like that it’s a bit faster. the lyrics are.. 1, 2, 3... random. it feels cheap and I have a feeling that the live performance might also go in that direction. it may be a fave but not mine (surprise, surprise). ♥♥

tajna - I feel like I’ve heard this before. guess which parts I only like about it. ♥♥

niti - okey? okey. it makes me sleepy. for some reason it also made me think of Slovenia’s last entry but less cool. ♥♥
