The Feltville Store/Church, at the Deserted Village of Feltville in Berkeley Heights, #NewJersey. This structure was built in 1845. The first floor housed a general store, the #Feltville post office, and possibly a storeroom. The second floor served as a chapel for religious worship. The #Adirondack style porch and the tower were added in the 1880s when the site was a resort called Glenside Park. Feltville was a self-contained company town from 1845-1860, centered around a mill. After 1860 it was abandoned for a short time before becoming the resort community of Glenside Park, which flourished until about 1916.
