Having just bought a small but significant quantity of #posters produced by the largely in Paris by the #soixantehuitard generation under the rubric of the #atelierpopulaire #mai1968 and June of the same year. It struck me how very similar they are to the collection issued by the #berkeleypoliticalposterworkshop in 1970 to protest #richardnixon carrying over of the #vietnamwar into Cambodia. I did a book on them, rather despised by the Bay Area serigraphy people at the time, the cataloguing was by the great Laura Batten, the essay by #barrymiles. I sold them in toto to the great #felixdennis and then posthumously to him to @houghtonlib #agitprop #affiches

'Hunger is violence', one of many graphics acquired by the @houghtonlib from the collection of #felixdennis produced by an unknown artist in the temporary #berkeleypoliticalposterworkshop in #1970 to protest the spilling over of the #vietnamwar into #cambodia and sold en bloc by this instagrammer.
