Nicholas Maurice Needlemouse [3]* / Sonic the Hedgehog (he/him)

Charles Domanick Needlemouse [2] / Manic the Hedgehog (he/they)

*(after realizing they had given 2/3 triplets middle names with "nic" in them they said fuck it and named nicky) ** baby Nicky called his sister "So-ya" and it made lil Sophia laugh

80s glam rock lesbian. aleena would actually kill eggman if he ever set foot on Christmas Island. if you say anything derogatory about her beautiful wife and kids she will decimate you.

bernadette grew up trans in the 80s and is growing out of the withdrawn self-preservation defense she needed to survive. but when push comes to shove bernie will do the right thing over the safe thing so she's the least chaotic of the hogs. would hide eggman's body

sonia restrains her chaotic tendencies a bit but she has them. the most organized of the triplets and also the strongest. smart enough to never get caught by the police. Protective.

since sonic has always been a fuck the police/acab icon he is good but obviously chaotic. he's a free spirit (i want to say freedom incarnate, in all its forms and nuances) and will break laws in the name of fun and freedom

manic is Chaotic. assigned menace at birth. anarchist. most likely to leak government docs on minecraft servers and threaten ceos with comical curses. the only reason he listens to either of his mommas is because they love them very much anyway and is a master of psychological manipulation. if he and tails ever crossed paths those two would break sonic from all the little sibling fuckery they would inflict on him

I have a few headcanons about Sonic’s family but I’ll put them under a cut so I don’t annoy everybody lol

-Jules, Bernie, and Aleena are all in a relationship (idk if they’re married) -Aleena and Bernie met each other before they met Jules -Jules and Aleena are the triplets’ biological parents -The triplets’ names are stupidly similar because Sonic and Manic aren’t the boys’ birth names -Bernie enjoys gardening and grows her own fruits and vegetables -Aleena and the triplets are royalty, but they have no real power and it’s essentially just an inherited title -Uncle Chuck is like a second dad to the triplets

...Tumblr’s search is being a pain, there no way there’s so few posts with either Bernie or Jules, there are a few that I know I’ve seen that didn’t show up!

I’ve tried looking around a few places like DA and FF.Net as well, but I haven’t seen any ship names for Aleena/Jules or Jules/Bernadette, just Berleena for Bernadette/Aleena.

Does anyone know or have suggestions?

For the time being, I’m using Jurnie for Jules/Bernadette, Juleena for Aleena/Jules, and AleeBernJule for Aleena/Jules/Bernadette.
