Aleena the Werehog / Gaiahog / Dark Gaia Folk
Attempts at Light Gaia equivalents for Manic and Jules
Off and on (but mostly off), I’ve been thinking about an AU story idea with Sonic being a werehog. I’ve also seen a few people make ‘Gaiahog’ redesigns of the werehog, closer to the old concept art and the actual Dark Gaia creatures.
After seeing a post with Sonic’s Underground and Archie families combined and remembering some Aleena/Bernie art I decided to include them in my story, make the Gaia somewhat equivalent to werewolves/elves, and attempt some Gaia redesigns...these are just noncolored first attempts, while mostly not looking at the references I had gathered.;;;;; And forgetting more obviously dark gaia traits

Light Gaia Folk (and leaning): Jules, Manic
‘Normal’ ‘Mobian’: Bernie
Sonia has strong Gaia powers, but no access to a transformation-- under normal circumstances-- due to her light and dark energies being more balanced and her body being more like Bernie’s, needs an amulet to maintain a normal Hedgehog form
