Stursia Berlin AU - Everything Reminds Me of You
Since I'm currently doing anything but writing despite wanting to and it seems unlikely I will finish even the first chapter of Berlin AU anytime soon here are a few snippets of what I've written that are my favourites
Speak Your Language Day
Drei Chinesen, kein Kontrabass, und ein ordinärer Kater
After the end of 'Sanatorium', Li Lianhua and his men adopt a third cat. This probably makes no sense to anybody except myself.-
Nur ein paar kurze Stunden (Kapitel 2/12)
Kommt mit Baurich ins Berlin der Jahre 1988/1989!
Pia besucht Esthers Ausstellungseröffnung kurz vor Weihnachten in Ostberlin.
Feedback ist wow!
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
So i have this Hetalia train conductor, not so train conductor au that i'm currently writing for. I have two chapters published so far, mainly to introrduce character and build up a plot for now.

Six Sentence Sunday
From the next chapter of Sanatorium, which I just finished -- will review tomorrow, and then post. But until then, have a snippet of the next weird lady coming to call.
-----------------------------------
Fang Duobing and A-Fei weren't home yet when Li Lianhua got to the old pump house; the cats were sleeping, and mosquitoes were dancing in the evening air between the lake and his kitchen courtyard.
He set out the strawberries in a bowl, and then went to the fridge and poured himself a Berliner Weisse with woodruff syrup. He didn't often drink the local beer, but he found it quite refreshing on hot summer evenings like today.
"Oh," said a female voice with a strong local accent. "Strawberries!"
Li Lianhua was half expecting Carmen, but it wasn't her. Instead, it was a spectacular young blonde with a messy mane of hair in a very messy bun, wearing some vintage apron dress and wooden clogs on her feet. She looked like an escapee from a cottage core romantasy novel; Li Lianhua wouldn't have been astonished if she'd commanded an army of cheerful gnomes.
"I didn't know you lived here," she went on, as if picking up on a conversation they had had before. Or had they? Patients came and went, and while everybody remembered Li Lianhua, he could not return the favour.
She would probably explain herself.
Six Sentence Sunday
Now all the watery ladies are coming out and giving Li Lianhua his assignment. Midsummer is the right time for Rusalki, telling the living women on the Kupala night who they are destined for; so of course, I had to write this today.
-------------------------------
He turned to look at her. Her hair was unbound and wild, and she wore a shift; timeless, five hundred years old or one hundred. One hundred years old would make the garment a nightie, though, his mind supplied superfluously.
Her hair was still dark, and wet, and the green was strong in it, as if water-ferns had been woven into it.
"What do you need me for?"
"Someone needs to hold your A-Fei when he remembers," she said. "And someone needs to get his story out without pointing a finger at him. That's what we need you for."
"Also, we are soppy and sentimental," came another voice, with a giggle. Li Lianhua knew that voice; it was Carmen.
"After all that happened, you want him to be happy?" Li Lianhua guessed.
Gepard hopped off his shoulder to greet Carmen; apparently, the cat had decided she wouldn't harm cats. He was such an optimist.
She bent down to rub the cat's ears.
"I couldn't help that boy back then," she said softly, "but I can help him to land softly now, when his wild story is done. If it's you he wants, then it will be you he gets."
Li Lianhua was about to protest about free will again, but then he realised something else, and for once in a long, long while, he just shut up and nodded.-
