Book Review
All The Presidents Men
Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward
336 pages
Completed: November 25th, 2012
So this was a required reading for a Newswriting class I am currently taking. Although I had to rush to finish it in time and the story read like a newspaper, it was still somewhat interesting. It revolves around the Watergate scandal and how two Washington Post reporters uncovered one of the biggest scandals in United States history. What I liked about the book was that it taught me a lot of valuable tips about investigative journalism. There are so many ways to practically squeeze information out of people. I'm going to have to write a paper on this and I think I will focus on the investigative techniques the reportes used. I don't normally read nonfiction, but this wasn't too bad. It's nice to learn new things.
I think I've posted this before.
But it's Bernstein.
