Got any headcanons about domestic!kastle? Who cooks? Who shops? Who cleans? Who takes the hottest showers? Which one checks the mail and walks the dog? Do either of them have habits that annoy the other in a cute domestic! way? ♥

Domestic!Kastle headcanons coming up!

Who cooks: They take turns, but it’s mostly Frank. Karen bakes desserts though. Cookies, pies, etc. ;-)

Who shops: Karen typically. Frank can’t go out much without getting noticed but he makes Karen a list and she’ll pick up the groceries he gives her and anything else they need. 

Who cleans: Frank. He was a Marine and Karen’s kind of messy (which he teases her about often)

Who takes the hottest showers: Both. And it’s usually them together to ‘conserve’ water. ;-)

Which one checks the mail: Whoever’s home first usually. Neither are picky about that.

Who walks the dog: On weekdays, Frank because he usually takes him for a run. On weekends they both take leisurely strolls with him. 

Bad habits: It’s not a ‘bad habit’ per se, but Frank never lets Karen clean up after dinner. Even if he cooks. Partly because Karen is on her feet all day at work and she should relax. But also because Frank likes to keep the kitchen tidy. And Frank’s habit is that he spreads his weapons all around the apartment. Hidden in ridiculous spots that Karen thinks is unnecessary. (A beretta in the hamper, shotgun in the closet behind her dresses, and some kind of automatic rifle under the mattress of their bed.)
