Ingredients: 2 cups fresh blueberries. 1 cup sugar. 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Instructions: In a saucepan, combine blueberries and sugar. Cook over medium heat until blueberries burst, stirring occasionally. Let cool. In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir in cooled blueberry mixture. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's instructions. During the last few minutes of churning, add chocolate chips. Transfer churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze until firm.
