I feel so fucking emotional lately especially in the dead of night. Like I feel like fucking crying and sobbing right now. I feel so fucking stunted. I don't know what makes me happy. I don't. My father's emotional manipulative abuse as made me unable to decide for myself what makes me happy. And it makes me feel agonized.

Who do you think the most attractive people in Paris are?

“I do suppose... the school owner Valentine inclines to visit is one of the most beautiful woman I could name from my head. Aside from that, Tris- I mean René, he’s the pretty one, of course, I’m saying this for him to hear, however he should take it. Émile is a gallant one, and so is Ameline, they both have strength in their beauty which I find particularly attractive. Pierre makes me feel reassurance, just as how I like to be in his company despite the reasons behind my visits to him... The other day I also met a peculiar young man at the tavern as well, who rather stands out, to say the least. And last, my brother Philippe, though he seems to care little of his looks, aside from not blending in with the rest of our family, I’d like him to know that I think he’s grown into a rather handsome, courtly young man and noble in his own rights.”And fuuuuu why is he taller than me???!!!?!?!

Café Terrace at Night- Do you enjoy going out and treating yourself?

“Despite what it may seem, I do quite enjoy going out and treating myself to a decent meal from time to time. It’s not generally reserved for special occasions either, I find it important to dine properly as I consider it less of a recreational activity and rather an essential one that people should not shy from. I visit taverns just for a drink too, on occasion. Also I’ve been going back to the theatre recently as well, I find the occasional change in rhythm to be beneficial to my performance.”

Favourite way to waste a day?

“I won’t consider any days wasted. But when not occupied by work, and with a whole day to have at leisure, I usually like to take a early stroll around the banks of Seine, or sometimes the royal gardens, followed by a visit to Elise’s inn for a meal, knowing that she would most definitely urge me to try out her new recipes and pastries. An afternoon spent in my office with a nice book alone is also greatly desirable… As for the evening… grabbing a drink with Tristan always relaxes me, if not, I wouldn’t mind visiting the theatre alone either, or just stay in and call it a day. I do, as frequently reminded by others, need some rest.”

And Then There Were None- Do you think murderers deserve to die?

'I don’t believe in absolutes, so the short answer is no. I don’t believe that humans in general are entitled to the right of divine judgement, and no one should deserve to die at the hand of others. That being said, I am unfortunately aware that I reek of hypocrisy. Though, what actually defines a criminalistic murder? I don’t suppose I would be deemed more righteous than a bandit that had slit an innocent throat or two in his past. Does the title of general, soldier, or king really justify the lives one have taken? For the sake of ruthless slaughter and pain inflicting, the murderer perhaps don’t deserve to live without consequences or retribution. However, personal vengeance aside, I do not think that an eye for an eye would set the world on the right path to melioration.’

Cat’s Cradle- Do you think it’s better to believe a lie than to live with an unpleasant truth?

‘It’s highly dependent, as I’m sure most would agree. If I didn’t know better, I would say that I’d rather face the truth, however unpleasant. That being said, I can only speak for what I know as of now. I am not blind to the fact that some truths have good reason to remain concealed, and that some truths can be inconceivably dreadful or even dangerous, and most could really do without it. However in such cases I would rather be shielded from it than lied to and believing in a facade. What is more difficult to me is to decide whether it is better to lie to another than to tell them the truth. As it goes, I always avoid forging a direct lie... or be unnecessarily evasive. Unless— unless... it is has to do with informing the account of one’s demise to their loved ones. I can’t do it, not all the time. Not to the grieving mothers, wives or children. They do deserve to know the truth, but not without some softening, and in some cases, I’d rather be the only one to carry the burden.’

The Lightning Thief- What would you be the god/goddess of?

‘... Perhaps perseverance, I'd like to think.’

Beowulf- Is it always worthwhile to hear both sides of an argument?

‘To hear an argument does not necessarily mean to have to agree or respect it, so I shall say, yes, it generally is. On top of that, I do in most cases believe in the nature of uncertainty, and I trust that there is a reason behind every belief and action, however questionable it may seem. It is rather irresponsible to deny a person’s right to defend themselves, and if their argument or opinion happen to be contemptible, ignorant or downright odious, all the better that they shall shame themselves in their attempt to pose a dispute. And of course there is always the case where one side of the argument may be terribly misinformed, with directly disgraceful intent or arguing for the sake of disagreement, which is definitely a waste of time. In that case, it may not be worthwhile to heed the specific side of the argument indeed, but that is not to acknowledge that there will be many differing opinions and sides to nearly every matter worth contemplation.’
