LETTER FROM EDDIE !

Hello everyone, it ‘s been a while since I have not published my posts for various reasons and I should have written this a month ago when I came to home from  work and found this beautiful letter.

As some of you know I work in the hospital and as you know we were among the first European countries involved and overwhelmed by the Covid -19 pandemic. I usually work in the surgery room, but in Covid period I worked for a month and a half in intensive care. Eddie learned about my job and sent me a ‘beautiful’ handwritten letter !!

I cried, I cried a lot for what he wrote to me …Words like Gratitude, Respect and Admiration for our work written by him are priceless …… when colleagues knew and saw the letter  rejoiced! “Eddie, Eddie Redmayne? Do not joke! Really, what did he write, let me see .. I can’t believe it … An Oscar winner like him sent us a letter? “ Amazement and joy invaded our hearts and made those sad moments a little  less ‘unhappy’, which at the moment are memories for us.   And then   we took photos  .. …..

Dear Eddie you are SPECIAL! In our meetings you spoke to me in ITALIAN, sang the Christmas carols at Eton College, picked up the phone to take beautiful pictures together, and  joined fans from any country in the world !!

You are not only a talented actor, but you also have the power to reach people in the heart and stay there forever!

Me, Patty, Christian, Rosy and Tiziana (we are just some of the many colleagues) we thank you infinitely and we hope that sooner or later the whole world will free  from Covid.

Ciao a tutti, e’ da un po’ di tempo che per diversi motivi non pubblico dei miei post ed avrei dovuto scrivere questo gia’ un mese fa quando arrivando da lavoro trovai questa bellissima lettera.

Come alcuni di voi sanno lavoro in Ospedale e come sapete siamo stati tra i primi paesi europei coinvolti e travolti dalla pandemia Covid 19.

Solitamente lavoro nel blocco operatorio, ma a causa del Covid ho lavorato per un mese e mezzo in terapia intensiva, Eddie e’ venuto a conoscenza del mio lavoro e mi ha spedito una lettera a dir poco “bellissima” scritta a mano da lui !! Ho pianto, ho pianto molto per  cio’ che mi ha scritto…

Parole come Gratitudine, RIspetto e Ammirazione per il ns lavoro scritte da lui non hanno prezzo …… quando i colleghi hanno saputo e visto la lettera hanno gioito! “Eddie, Eddie Redmayne? Non scherzare! Davvero, cosa ha scritto, fammi vedere.. non ci posso credere…Un premio Oscar come lui ci ha inviato una lettera? ” Stupore e gioia hanno  invaso i nostri cuori e reso un po’ meno “infelici” quei tristi momenti, che al momento per noi sono ricordi.

Caro Eddie tu sei SPECIALE! Nei nostri incontri mi hai parlato in ITALIANO,  cantato i canti natalizi al Eton College, preso il telefono per scattare foto bellissime insieme, e hai unito tutte noi fans di qualsiasi paese al mondo !!

Non sei solo un attore di talento, ma hai anche il potere di colpire le persone al cuore e rimanerci per sempre!

IO, Patty Christian, Rosy e Tiziana ( siamo solo alcuni dei tanti colleghi) ti ringraziamo infinitamente e ci auguriamo che prima o poi tutto il mondo si liberi dal Covid

hello everyone! with the recent news of Eddie becoming a Patron for the MND Association, I was thinking - would anyone be interested in making a donation in Eddie’s name in honor of his birthday this year? it’s a cause near and dear to his heart and it might be a nice way for his fans to support him!
