Happy New year! -- Here is a look back 2024 through some of my most liked pieces. 2 of my a to z of taskmaster and lots of puns does sum up my art year pretty well. I did more watercolours and mixed media illustrations this year than digital. My #Best9 of 2019! These are pieces that I either really enjoyed working on or some that turned out a lot better than I expected them to! SO many group photos!!!

2019 was kind of crazy for me; I opened a Patreon and I got my first big freelance job, and I juggled a lot of commissions in there too!! I can’t wait to see what 2020 is like!!!

TOP 9 OF 2019 tag

I’ve decided to make my own top 9 (instead of 10, bc it’s 2019, duh), but instead of my most-liked posts from the year, I brought you my personal favourites!

2019 was the last year of Game of Thrones, and as you all probably know, I wasn’t pleased with how it ended. Daenerys has always and will always be my favourite character from the series no matter what! I feel like I have neglected the GoT side of my simblr, but I’m hoping to change that in 2020!

Monarchy is my legacy challenge for ts4, which seems to be very successful. This year has not only been my favourite year in the simblr community, but it has also been the most inspiring and most productive year. I got so many asks and so many kind words, but the best feeling for sure was when new royal simblrs tagged me and said they were inspired by me to start their own royal legacy, which melted my heart! I also got the huge honour to team up with @theroyalsims for 2 state visits, which I have enjoyed very much! Looking forward to working with you next year! ♥

In 2019 I started to learn about renders and I have created my very first ones, which, to my surprise, turned out great! Now I use them to showcase my cc, but I really enjoyed making historical ones during the year. My Franz Joseph and Sisi renders are really close to my heart because I could share a small bit of my country’s history through them. Also, my ‘Őfelsége, a Királyné’ set was very well received.

My biggest project for the year was The Coronation Pack for sure! It took me months to get everything done and I think it was worth every minute! I also had the honour of teaming up with the incredible @vmsrose, who built a gorgeous Abbey for the pack. 

Also, we hit 1000 and 2000 followers this year, atm we are above 2700, which is insane!! I love you all very much and thank you for making this year so wonderful! 

I’m not planning to stop any time soon, so get ready for 2020!!

TOP 9 OF 2019 tag

2019 was the year i had started my simblr, in February, after being inspired by countless incredible people on this very app and the discord server, Sims of History. Though i’ve been on here for eleven months, i dont have that much posts or content on my blog which, im really sorry for; i do have lots of plans for the upcoming new year, properly posting about my monarchy story, which is kinda the main purpose of this blog, maybe just maybe posting my first cc items and overall many projects i’m excited about! i’ve reached 697 followers doing the bare minimum and im so grateful for that honestly i never had expected i’d have that much followers lol. a huge shoutout to @batsfromwesteros for being a constant inspiration for me, feeding us with his wonderful cc and well being my rock really (and making me do this post) i love you. and i love you guys so much as well. this is probably my last post of 2019. merry christmas and have a wonderful new year. x
