Rise of EV Adoption in Nepal
Nepal had one of the fastest electric vehicle (EV) transitions in South Asia. In Nepal, something that began as an alternative to traditional fuel-powered vehicles has evolved into a movement towards cleaner energy, independence, and sustainable development. In 2021/2022, we began to notice the hike in EV adaptation, which now accounts for around 73% to 76% of new imported EVs.
